Torture cannot be a State Policy!
Is Torture, as a state policy, justified? One can use examples like Guantanamo (among many others), where prisioners where tortured to give information, and say things like “what if it was someone in your family, like your daughter, depending on that information?”, or “but thousands will be saved!”
If we depend on a social system that tortures, it is not worth fighting for a barbarian system! For the second argument, it might as well be applied to all cases! A specific case cannot justify all the times torture was used!!
